Participated in the National Brainstorming Workshop on Biodiversity, for preparation of draft activity guide for the National Children's Science Congress, held at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on 16 - 19 June 2005 as and expert a as the General Secretary of the NCSTC Network. Prof. Madhav Gadgil was the Workshop Director and the workshop was organized by the NCSTC Network in collaboration with IISc and Karnataka Rajya Vigyan Parishat. Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India supported and catalysed the workshop

Participated in a day-long sensitization meet on "Institutionalising Strategic Environment Assessment" on 22nd June at Bhubaneswar. The meet was organized by the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad and was supported by the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF), Govt. of India.

Attended a review meeting of the district coordinators of the Year of Scientific Awareness (YSA)-2004 activities at Gangtok, Sikkim on 7th September as the Convenor of the Regional Organising Committee for YSA-2004 . The meeting was organized by the Sikkim State Science & Technology Council.

Attended as a Resource Person in a Regional Sensitisation meeting of Evaluators of the Children Science Congress during 8th & 9th September 2005 at Gangtok, Sikkim. The meet was organized by the Rashtriya Vigyan Evam Prodyogiki Sanchar Parishad (RVPSP) of the Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

Participated in the "National Workshop of the ENVIS Centres" at Shimla during 12-14 October 2006. The workshop was organized by MoEF in association with the Himachal Pradesh State Science & Technology Council.

Visited Gangtok during 20 - 31 December 2007 on request from the Secretary, Science & Technology Department, Govt. of Sikkim for helping their department in organizing the 14th National Children's Science Congress at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Majhitar, Sikkim. The event was held during 27 - 31 December 2006, which was inaugurated by the President of India.
