- In Dhemaji District World Environment Day was organised centrally involving most of the eco-clubs in the district
- In Tinsukia District two awards – for Best Eco Club and Best Teacher-in-Charge – have been instituted.
- DIMC, Dhemaji has received 1,00,000 (One Lakh) nos. of seedlings free of cost from the Divisional Forests Office, Social Forestry Division free of cost.
