ONGOING PROJECTS

Customisation of database as per requirements of user Dept.

Various digital database generated in ARSAC under projects like Wasteland, Disaster Management Support programme are further customised as per user's requirement. The users dept. are Block Development offices of various district, DRDA, Soil Conservation and NGO's.

ARSAC is providing valuable inputs in formulation of their projects by providing necessary inputs of various themes generated under the project (viz. superimposition of watershed with village, wasteland and landuse etc.) Necessary computer plots are generated and supplied to the users.

Moreover we are updating the village database of entire Assam in GIS environment as a requirement for UNICEF related projects in Assam. Village level database was created under wasteland projects using thana maps of DLR, Govt. of Assam. At present Updation is being carried out in consultation with district administration of each district.
