Programme for Skill formation
for General & Hill Areas
The
Council has implemented various
programmes to generate skilled
personnel at different locations
in Assam. This is a basic necessity
for development of industrial
and commercial ventures, which
opens up avenues of employment
for unemployed youths in the
existing and proposed industrial
and commercial establishments.
Some of the major activities
under this scheme are:

problem and awareness camp

trainees were trained up
in leather goods and garment
making at Leather Goods
and Garments Training Centre
of ASTEC, Guwahati |

programme on tissue culture
for postgraduate students
through the Dept. of Bio-Technology
